“Well, aren’t you quite the influence?” Larsa tossed the young lady an apologetic smile. “He means well, I assure you. Though, it remains—what exactly befuddled you, miss, that you would question its legality?”
Well this is certainly a boy that she does not know, but she smiles at him pleasantly nonetheless.
”Nothing in particular, just the act itself. It seems suspicious to simply take something—but it’s not really my business anyways.”Really it wasn’t, but she had appeared there and found Vaan nonetheless, and she couldn’t help but let the comment slip out.
Of course the two of them would disapprove, especially with regards to Naminé’s prior chastising of him. Still, he hadn’t expected her presence; otherwise, the thief would have been more discreet to avoid such criticisms. Sighing, Vaan looked toward the ground before he mumbled, “… wouldn’t it seem more suspicious returning it?”

Cue a look.
”Perhaps, but it still matters.”
“Vaan, I don’t think she looks to be a brigand…”

From what Vaan had seen of the girl, she definitely was no brigand per say, but his logic was unmoved. “Yeah, but still. . .”

Following: No, but I love you! | I am now | Yes | Always |
Comments: Pffft. You’re like a perfect Larsa; I could never master the way Larsa even speaks like you do. Furthermore, I probably sound like a super-fan but your writing is gorgeous.
“Who ever expects to find me anywhere as of late? The expectation, rather, is that I am shackled to imperial duties and that I sacrifice the cultivation of my individuality.” The young lord gave a light laugh, shuffling modestly a pair of hands behind his back, eyes eagerly alit. “It’s been too long, Vaan. How fares Dalmasca’s sky pirate?”
Larsa watched eagerly as Vaan worked the switches and joysticks of the ship. Hadn’t he been mentored by Balthier himself? Awe twisted with curiosity, spurring the wander of ardent eyes. Easily they met the glassy frames of windows that promised glorious adventure in the near future.
“How long did it take you to get comfortable piloting airships, Vaan?"
Vaan struggled a bit with one of the levers, his arms outstretched as he attempted to respond to Larsa’s inquiries, “Uh, not too long. I watched Balthier a lot when we traveled together.” Finally managing to release it, he exhaled before continuing, more casually, “But it’s still easier with a copilot onboard every once in a while.”

Our muses are destined to fall for each other in an art gallery
It wasn’t like he had intended to be here. The lackluster of paintings on walls and relics never attracted Vaan other than the chance that he could pocket some gil from their sale. However, for some reason the young lord had desired to admire them in the gallery.
Uninterested, the young sky pirate had begun to wander into his own thoughts. One would think such a high ranking official could easily find it in his own time to venture to a museum, but the two had gone a while without seeing one another, and a quiet space would be more befitting of Larsa’s manner.
Still, as Vaan watched the subtle fascination on his face, as he had moved from piece to piece, Vaan could not help but notice the intensity of Larsa’s eyes, as if taking in each detail with studious care. How long was he going to stare at a vase anyways? Shouldn’t they be catching up on old times, adventures, or even how Larsa has managed to evade his imperial watch force? Vaan reclined back on the bench he had practically stayed upon their entire visit, only to be called over within a few moments for his opinion.
Having no interest in artwork, he merely looked back at Larsa, “Everything is beautiful with you, but aren’t you going to pay attention to me?”

“That’s quite alright,” spoke the young lord as he approached, panting. “It’s been a while since I’ve exerted myself too much. I suppose it shows.” He laughed, his energy rejuvenated by the force of sheer joy. “You’re as lively as ever, I see.” His tone then softened. “Don’t ever change. Come then, lead me up—but slower, please.

"I’ll try not to,” Vaan laughed, reasoning that the boy after all served the empire most days behind desks and meeting tables. It was unlikely that an abundance of liveliness stirred the government sectors into action on a daily basis.
Leading up, Vaan switched several mechanisms to start the ship’s engines before heading to the directional controls.

“Tch—” Too humble even to accept the praise of the gods? He chuckled, bolting after Vaan, cheeks flushed with thrill. Vague memories flowed in from the chasms of reflection. Yes, he had visited this airship once before; yet, this had been on business, and time favored not the appreciation of her detail. On this day his eyes darted every which way. “Vaan, I’ve lost my breath—- slow down, won’t you?”
Vaan heard the plea from his ally, and began to slow his pace. He supposed he had just forced a run from town earlier; Vaan had just never felt patient when it came to action. “Oh, sorry, Larsa."

Out of Potions: We could just make it a thread if you still want to—-

“Ah, yes… You did mention that in passing once before. Or was it Penelo? Still, I’ll admit, I never questioned it myself until this instant.” It was enough to admire the vessel from afar; a contented laugh left his lips. “The gods have encouraged you on this path, then. You must be welling up with gratitude.”
Vaan wouldn’t doubt Penelo had mentioned their find. Reluctant, she had tagged along after the discovery for a substantial while, and she seemed to hold a close relationship with the young lord. “Yeah. Something like that.” Vaan laughed, no doubt it’s appearance likely seemed unbelievable. The idea of gods smiling upon it… ”Well, I don’t think you snuck out to talk about airships, did you? What are we waiting for.”
That said, Vaan began to hurry onboard, expectant of Larsa’s follow.
